Professors Guillermo Bazan, Craig Hawker, Alan Heeger, and Thuc-Quyen Nguyen were included on this prestigious list of leading researchers. This list honors investigators having multiple papers with the top 1% of citations in their discipline.

Former Student of Dan Little Receives ACS "Heroes of Chemistry" Award

Stucky Group Alum Receives MacArthur Fellowship

Award Recipient: Peidong Yang

Award Date: October 09, 2015

Peidong Yang, a postdoctoral fellow at UC Santa Barbara from 1997-1999, has been named a MacArthur Fellow in recognition of his work "transforming the field of semiconductor nanowires and nanowire photonics, and enabling wide-ranging practical applications."
