The Department congratulates Professor Don Aue and Professor Scott Price for being recognized with a 2017-18 Distinguished Teaching Award from the UCSB Academic Senate.  Prof. Aue was recognized for his outstanding teaching in the area of organic chemistry, and Prof. Price was recognized for his outstanding teaching in general chemistry. The awards will be presented to Prof. Aue and Prof. Price at a reception later in Spring Quarter.

This national award given by the American Chemical Society (ACS) is sponsored by the Alfred R. Bader Fund to recognize outstanding research accomplishments at the interface between biology and organic or inorganic chemistry.
