Dr. Charlotte Zeamer is cognitive psychologist and a career science educator with teaching experience in K-12, undergraduate and graduate classrooms, as well as informal settings such as Museums and afterschool programs. Charlotte’s research has focused on effective communication in complex work and learning settings, with an emphasis on the aspects of social and cultural identity that can affect perception and memory. Charlotte currently works on crafting, delivering, and training undergraduates and professional teachers on effective, engaging programming in the sciences for K-12 students with the SciTrek STEM outreach programs through the Chemistry Department at UCSB.
