Seven faculty members and four graduate student TA’s, were honored on April 21 at a reception and Academic Senate Faculty Legislature meeting, including the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry's PhD candidate, Jeff Carmichael.  Each year, teaching assistants play a vital role enhancing the teaching mission of the University. The Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award recognizes the contributions of graduate students to the teaching and learning process of UC Santa Barbara.
