Faady Siouri, a PhD candidate in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, was awarded the Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics Poster Prize at the 62nd Pacific Conference on Spectroscopy and Dynamics on February 1st, 2015. The award was presented to Faady by Ruth Norris, the deputy editor of Royal Society of Chemistry, for his poster presentation titled, "Resonance Enhanced Multi-photon Spectroscopy of Thymine and Uracil. A High Resolution Probe for Gas Phase Structure and Dynamics."  Participants were evaluated based on the quality of research information and its impact on their field, as well as the clarity and simplicity of their presentation.
